In today’s message, we were reminded that God is still the God of a second chance. Joel 2:25 assures us that God can restore the years that have been lost, delayed, or damaged. Through the lives of Peter and Abraham, we saw that mistakes, failure, and detours do not have to be the end of destiny when a person returns to God. Peter was ready to return to a lower life after failing Jesus, but mercy restored him back to purpose. Abraham also made mistakes, yet God remained committed to His covenant and destiny for his life. This message is a call to return to your first love, remain connected to godly instruction, and trust that God is able to orchestrate a turnaround in every area of your life.
