Absorption Spectrum of Janus Green B using a Genesys 30 on Live Display Mode
In this demonstration, a sample of Janus Green B will be used in a Genesys 30 Spectrophotometer. The %T will be collected from 325 nm up to 900 nm, in 25 nm wavelength increments. The Live Display mode is used to collect each data point individually with a refresh rate of 2 seconds. Please note: I was a little too quick when blanking each of the different wavelengths. I should have waited a few seconds to show you that the %T would be 100% after each one. The reason it keeps showing a value other than 100%, is I took the Blank out too soon and opened the door. The light from the room overloads the system, just as it takes a reading every 2 seconds. This is why it does not display 100%.
