Absorption Spectrum of Janus Green B using a Genesys 30 on Automatic Scan Mode
In this demonstration, a sample of Janus Green B will be used in a Genesys 30 Spectrophotometer. The Automatic Scan feature will be used to generate absorbance data from 325 nm up to 900 nm, in one simple scan. The Spectrophotometer will collect data for every wavelength between the desired lower and upper limits, set by the operator. Once complete, the data can be off loaded to a USB drive and opened in Excel for analysis.
