Pro Skimboarders Compete in Perfect Shorebreak Waves. Who Will be the World Champion in 2025?

Day 2 of El Rey de Lovers. Professional Skmboarders battle it out in man on man heats in one of the most dangerous shorebreak waves in the world. Lover's beach is on the souther most tip of Baja. The Pacific ocean unleashes an incredible amount of energy on these beaches due to the incredibly steep drop off from land to water. The water right off the shoreline gets really deep really fast. It is very easy to get swept off your feet and not be able to touch the bottom, which is just part of the reason these beaches are so treacherous. Add in some rip currents and really powerful waves and you have a recipe for a tourists nightmare. All of the athletes in this video are very comfortable in waves of consequence.
