JI NYUY (Lamnso Lyrics & English Subtitles) | Nsaykila Elvis
Lamnso' lyrics and English subtitles of the song JI NYUY. Nsaykila Elvis wrote this song in July 2011. But this performance of it is of 2016. This recording took on a special significance; it marked the dedication of Nwa' Nyuy, the complete Bible translated into Lamnso'. That is why there is a recitation in it to the effect. It is a song usable in the Liturgy for the Gospel Acclamation/Procession. The pace of the Njang in the song makes it pleasing to dance, and hence usable as a song for the “Lectionary Procession,” which is a popular liturgical adaptation in Cameroon. This recording was mixed and mastered by Chrisco Fon, with the instrumental composition of Nsaykila Elvis himself.
