COME TO ME | The Virtual Chorale - Lyrics

“Come to Me” is a song for the reception of Holy Communion during Holy Mass or Communion Service. The lyrics of the song are drawn from the Gospel according to John 6: 35-37, 54. This song is an invitation of Jesus to everyone to share of his body and blood. It gives the assurance of the graces of those who unite themselves fully with Jesus in the Eucharist with Jesus. It is another beautiful addition to the liturgical repertoire of religious music and liturgical music in Cameroon, and African in general. The performance exudes this assurance and gentleness. The Afrosounds Cameroon style makes it also fitting for Communion, soft and pleasant, to evoke union with God, and meditation on Jesus coming into our hearts. Nsaykila Elvis initially wrote this as a song for a competition, and then later got it recorded. He produced it himself, and Dijay Kay handled the post-production.
