Viaducto ferroviario Martín Gil, Zamora, España – ULMA Construction [es] El emblemático viaducto ferroviario Martín Gil, ubicado en Zamora y construido entre 1930 y 1940, está siendo sometido a una compleja rehabilitación estructural. Esta obra de ingeniería, que en su día ostentó el récord como el mayor viaducto de arco de hormigón del mundo, se alza sobre el embalse de Ricobayo con una longitud total de 481 metros y un majestuoso arco central de 200 metros de luz. La rehabilitación se ha hecho necesaria por las patologías detectadas en la estructura: fisuras, desconchones, pérdida de sección de armaduras y otros signos de deterioro. El objetivo de los trabajos es garantizar la conservación y funcionalidad de la infraestructura a largo plazo y, para ello, la solución técnica clave ofrecida por ULM es el uso del andamio multidireccional BRIO, que se ha adaptado a la compleja geometría del puente para facilitar el acceso a todas las zonas de trabajo, tanto en la parte superior como inferior del arco, pilares, tablero y laterales del viaducto. This feat of engineering, which once held the record as the largest concrete arch viaduct in the world, stands over the Ricobayo reservoir with a total length of 481 metres and a majestic central arch spanning 200 metres. The restoration has become necessary due to pathologies detected in the structure: fissures, spalling, loss of reinforcement sections and other signs of deterioration. The aim of the work is to ensure the long-term conservation and functionality of the infrastructure.
