According to her, the ideal scenario would be the replacement of 10,000 employees, a number already advocated by the Minister of Social Security, Wolney Queiroz, but the administration itself recognizes that reaching this level in the short term is difficult. Given this situation, the INSS (National Institute of Social Security) opted for a more streamlined and prioritized request, whose authorization depends on the approval of the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI). Currently, the INSS is seeking to strengthen its service capacity in the face of increased demand for social security and welfare services throughout the country. The debate on the recomposition of the civil service gained momentum after new statements by the Secretary of Personnel Management of the Federal Government, José Celso Cardoso Jr., regarding the public service scenario. According to him, although the last Unified National Competition (CNU) approved approximately 12,000 candidates, the number is still far from compensating for the accumulated losses in the public service. Between 2016 and 2026, approximately 70,000 civil servants left the federal public service, including retirements, resignations, and dismissals. Furthermore, the union caucus warned that, between 2025 and 2026 alone, approximately 17,000 civil servants requested retirement or resignation. The emergency request for 2,000 positions covers 20% of the initial demand sent to the Ministry of Social Security (MSG). In this year's request, which Qconcursos Folha Dirigida had access to, the agency requested a new competitive examination with 10,000 positions. The following positions were requested: 8,501 positions for social security technician; and 1,499 positions for social security analyst. The social security technician position requires a high school diploma and offers a starting salary of R$6,041.63.
