Piridina - Sustitución electrófila (SE). Nitración, sulfonación y halogenación
Pyridine reacts with electrophiles through the 3-position. The electronegativity of nitrogen makes it less reactive than benzene. The most characteristic reactions are nitration, sulfonation, and halogenation of the ring. It does not give Friedel-Crafts reaction.
