In this video, we showed you one of the wonders of ancient times, a settlement carved into the rocks that holds some of Anatolia's greatest secrets, known to very few people. From the outside, it looks like a fortress, but inside, it's a vast underground network of tunnels. Inside, there were silos large enough to sustain dozens of people for a long time, safety hatches, and cisterns. Its height was supported by towers, and topped by a tumulus, a trapdoored and entirely made of stone. A short distance from this fortress, we saw a royal road, supporting the rich ancient life that once existed here. The continuation of our field trip will be on my channel.
