Kolumbaryum mu? Güvercinlik mi? ŞAHMELİK VADİSİ

In this video, we introduced you to the ritual and necropolis area in the Şahmelik Valley, dating back thousands of years. Although some people in certain areas have called these structures dovecotes, the motifs on them allowed us to understand that they were columbariums. A careful look at the motifs reveals that they date back to the Roman period or even earlier. Our research continues to understand what these primitive motifs are trying to convey.
