Hello friends, in this episode I visited a university in Nouakchott, the capital of Mauritania, and listened to students studying Turkology there. I also presented short visuals of what they had prepared for us. Afterwards, I went down to the ocean coast to observe the daily life of fishermen living in Mauritania. On the beaches I visited for two consecutive days to film, there were people attacking my camera, forcibly turning it off, and countless negative reactions. Nevertheless, I managed to find a middle ground and get some footage. Later, I visited young people receiving traditional Islamic education in places called Mahzara, in the middle of the desert, a practice that has been going on for centuries.
