Dirt Devil Featherlite 085570 Upright Vacuum

This is my Dirt Devil Featherlite upright vacuum (from somewhere in the mid 2000s), model 085570, that I bought locally from a pawn shop in my aera. I've had somewhat of a liking to these later style Featherlite's that had the bypass motor as opposed to the direct air motor simply for the fact I believe it's better built and also has way better tool suction. When I was little, my grandparents used to have a direct air version of the Featherlite (I believe it was the Featherlite Plus) that was mint green, and was obnoxiously loud whenever you use it (probably was due to either bad motor bearings or a broken fan), so that is honestly what gave me a bad vibe for Dirt Devil when I was little, and why I'm personally not a big fan of the name, but certain Dirt Devil models like this, I do like. This didn't come with any of its attachments, so I sourced the extension wand, and found a dusting brush and crevice tool from my closet that happened to fit this vacuum so I threw them on and now it has a full attachment set. It features a 12 amp motor with clean air design and takes Dirt Devil Style U bags (it is smaller than the style D that what the direct air predecessor takes), but in this vacuum, I have rigged it to run a Riccar Supralite bag, and it seems to fit just fine and also filters better than even the high quality Dirt Devil bags do. The suction is amazing, airflow is great (even for a bypass vacuum), and the agitation is all right (not the best since it doesn't hit the carpet very good). My only complaints about this machine is how short the cord is, and how cheaply the build quality was for the time, but then again, Dirt Devil wasn't known for very good build quality anyway. Overall, I do like this vacuum, and I believe if they made vacuums like this, they'd have a better reputation.
