Scarborough Funicular Railways 2021-Central Tramway Cliff Lift & Spa Cliff Lift
A recent week away has geven me the chance to make some new Youtube vids. This one shows the two funicular cliff lift railways at Scarborough in August 2021. The first one we see is the Central Tramway which opened in August 1881 and is the one in the centre of town. Further south we see the second surviving funicular, the South Cliff 'Spa' Lift Railway, which was opened in 1875. We see both lines in operation plus we take a ride on each.
