PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Indonesian Railway Company) often has to extend its travel schedule by running additional trains or increasing its capacity. The high demand for this travel service has also prompted PT Kereta Wisata, a subsidiary of PT Kereta Api Indonesia, to provide special services by adding its fleet to regular train journeys. Considering that the Luxury fleet already graces the flagship train lineup, this tourist train fleet is coupled with non-flagship trains, such as the Manahan, Fajar/Senja Utama Yogyakarta, Bogowonto, and the Gajahwong Train. During the regular season, the Bogowonto Train only serves Executive and Economy classes. However, during peak times like school holidays, even trains like the Gajahwong train can be equipped with Priority class service. As we know, Priority service is synonymous with expensive ticket prices due to its more exclusive service. However, recently, ticket prices have been comparable to regular Executive class, and in some cases, even cheaper.
