Day 2: Handwriting & Favourite Pens ✒️ (Junk Journal July UK) Hello everyone, and welcome to Day 2 of Junk Journal July UK! Today’s prompt is **HANDWRITING / FAVOURITE PEN**, so we are focusing on adding a personal, handwritten touch to our pages using my absolute go-to writing tools. ✨ Today's Page Process: The Base: I created a full double-page spread across our journal layout. The Elements I layered a beautiful background using Bee Happy Stationery's "Nautical Notes" digital kit, a vintage image rescued from the original 1940s book, some old cigarette cards, and delicate fussy-cut butterflies. The Framing: I used paper measuring tape to perfectly frame the focal image on the page. The Handwriting & Pens: Using a mix of Posca markers, a black fineliner, and my favourite white gel pen, I hand-lettered the reminder: "Being you is more important than being perfect. Make Art!" This page is a wonderful reminder that our own handwriting is art, imperfections and all.
