Day 1: Relaxed Crafting ⛵ (Junk Journal July UK) Hello everyone, and welcome to Day 1 of Junk Journal July UK! The very first prompt for this year's challenge is **RELAXED**, so today we are settling in for a peaceful, low-pressure creative session. I am creating a beautiful maritime collage to set the tone for my journal. Today's Page Process: The Background Sea: I built a textured, layered ocean using small snippets of fabric, napkins, and tissue paper. The Sky: I painted a calm, soft sky using watercolours—a technique I am really keen to practice and develop throughout this journaling journey. The Focal Point: I added a lovely boat image sourced from Bee Happy Stationery's "Nautical Notes" digital kit floating on top of the collage sea. This project is all about letting go of perfection and just enjoying the process of mixing textures and paint.
