Johannes Heil live at La Gare - Torino 31/10/2006 - Live Set, LivePA. Techno & Minimal Music. ask Seb is an independent, non-profit archive dedicated to underground electronic music. I document sound before it disappears. I preserve context in a time of noise. I save the culture not just the music. If it need to be louder, it needs to be preserved. Johannes Heil is a German DJ, producer, live performer and label owner, born near Bad Nauheim, Germany, in 1978. He became involved in electronic music at an early age, taking his first steps in Heiko Laux's Kanzleramt Techno Bistro. Under Laux's guidance, Heil began producing music and released his debut single, Die Offenbarung, on U-Turn in 1996. In 1998, he founded JH-Records, an independent label created to release his own productions and develop his artistic vision. Alongside his solo productions, Heil developed several collaborative projects, including Item One with Heiko Laux and, later, LFJH with Len Faki. S Throughout his career, Johannes Heil has explored different forms of electronic music, including techno, electro, ambient and dub, while maintaining a strong focus on live performance and hardware-based production. In addition to JH-Records, he later founded Metatron and, together with Markus Suckut, Exile, further expanding his activities as a label owner. Still active today, Johannes Heil continues to perform internationally as a DJ, live performer, producer and label owner. La Gare was an electronic music venue located near Porta Nuova railway station in Turin, Italy. The club opened during the 1990s inside a former industrial building in Via Sacchi, gradually becoming one of the main venues for electronic music in Turin. Throughout the 2000s, La Gare established itself as one of Turin's principal clubs for house, techno and electronic music. The club became known for its industrial atmosphere and its focus on quality electronic music programming rather than large-scale commercial entertainment. During the late 2000s, La Gare was considered one of the reference points for Turin's electronic music scene. In the following years, the venue underwent major renovations and eventually continued its activity under the new name Milk Torino, marking the beginning of a new chapter while preserving the site's connection with electronic music. This set has a soft minimal introduction before evolving into a pure techno set with strong rhythms, electronic sounds and powerful melodies, finally closing by returning to more minimal sounds. As you can hear, Johannes Heil has a pure German sound strongly oriented towards techno, providing a pure and original experience every time thanks to his live performance, which makes every set unique and certainly something different from a normal DJ set. for support my project: https://ko-fi.com/askseb https://liberapay.com/askSeb/ https://buymeacoffee.com/askseb Every contribution is reinvested into the archive.
