【白馬岳２日目】絶景、また絶景！しかし栂池自然園ルート下山は岩場が長過ぎてキツい！/雨飾荘宿泊

We are a couple in our 50s who love driving and traveling. During the Obon holiday in August 2025, we embarked on a two-day, one-night hike to Mt. Hakuba, one of Japan's 100 famous mountains. This was our third year of hiking, but our first attempt at staying overnight in a mountain hut. This video shows our descent on Day 2. Please first watch the video of our ascent on Day 1. Due to strong winds and fog, we had to give up on our hopes of seeing the sunrise, and our scheduled 6:00 a.m. departure was delayed. We began our descent in extremely poor conditions, but were overwhelmed by the sudden succession of spectacular views. However, once we passed Hakuba Oike Pond, the rocky descent continued for an extended period, making it extremely difficult to walk. Despite this, we felt a tremendous sense of accomplishment. After descending, we stayed at a wonderful inn called Amakazari-so, where we soothed our tired bodies and enjoyed delicious food. The long course, heavy backpacks, and our first overnight stay in a mountain hut made us anxious, but the excitement outweighed that anxiety. It was a fulfilling and rewarding climb, and one that truly enhanced our experience.
