The Scottish Munro Journey: James Coutts / Almost 5 Years to Summit 282 Munros in Scotland
The Scottish Munro Journey: James Coutts / Almost 5 Years to Summit 282 Munros in Scotland. READ FULL DESCRIPTION: James Coutts aka '@scottishmunrojourney' is an adventurer based in the Highlands of Scotland and at the turn of the pandemic, set himself the challenge to summit all 282 Munros in Scotland. Munro bagging is no mere feat, all 282 of them are mountains over 3,000 feet tall. What started out as an innocent journey to summit all the Munros in Scotland turned into an incredible story where James documented and shared all 282 Munros on social media with us, the highs, the lows, the bluebird days, cloud covered summits. Break throughs and breakdowns. In September 2024 'The Scottish Munro Journey' successfully completed all 282. As an OEX ambassador, we caught up with James on Beinn Alligin (one of his favourite Munros) to ask him what summiting all 282 Scottish Munros was like and in this video he shares his Scottish Munro Journey.
