Start Early, Drive Slowly, Reach Safely | Understanding Sathya Sai's Driving Metaphor

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba advises us to, "Start Early, Drive Slowly, Reach Safely" especially when it comes to the spiritual journey. But is it not too late already, because Swami isn't in our midst in His physical form... or because we are already past our youth or prime? When these questions bother us, the true meaning of the quote comes handy. It encourages, enthuses and lets us know what needs to be done. We also realise that this quote is intricately linked to the human values of Sathya (Truth), Dharma (Right Conduct), Shanti (Peace), and Prema (Love) This is a talk delivered during the Memorial Day Retreat of Region 3 of the SSSIO (USA) on the 24th May, 2025.
