Today we will visit the village of Emona, one of the most remote and sparsely populated on the coast. What is typical here you can find a house for sale for three hundred thousand euros. Let's try to find out why. The first written information about this place dates back to the seventh century, in these documents Emona appeared as a city. On the site of the lighthouse there was a fortress, which already in our millennium saw a large number of showdowns. Here were the Byzantines, Savoyards, Turks and then Bulgarians. At the beginning of the twentieth century, many Bulgarians moved here from Turkey. There was a school, a club, the residents were engaged in cattle breeding and agriculture. The sights include the church of Sveti Dimitar restored 15 years ago, the monastery of Sveti Nikolay Mirakliyski built in the 10th century, about two hundred years ago it was destroyed, then partially restored with the status of a cultural and spiritual monument of national importance. Cape Emine was declared a natural landmark in 1976. The protected area of Irakli with a beach. Today, most of those who get here will probably be attracted by the health center. It is definitely worth mentioning that it is here, on Cape Emine, that the longest marked hiking route in Bulgaria ends. There is plenty of beauty and nature here. And it seemed strange to me why this place has not yet been built up with hotels and inns. There are several versions on this matter: The people who own real estate here are far from poor and perhaps they are in some way hindering the repair of the road. After all, if there is a road, getting here will not be difficult and the location will become much more attractive. Another version is that the Nessebar community is simply not interested in affairs in remote areas and is busy with its daily affairs in the locations around Sunny Beach. Perhaps this is the reason why the town of Obzor recently held a referendum on the issue of separating from the Nessebar community with six nearby villages. Real estate here can cost from 30 to 300 thousand euros. Land costs an average of 30 to 60 euros per square meter. There are many large plots of land for sale in the village, apparently for investment projects for hotels, gated communities, and the like. All this can certainly whet the appetite of any investor, but the first thing to do is to get here and understand how people will do it, and whether they will do it at all. I am almost certain that when certain people learn about the plans to finance the new road, the most attractive plots will immediately be snapped up by interested parties.
