FIRE on the Farm
Burning brush piles, overgrown wooded areas, and fields are normal, beneficial farm activities in the spring. Although Allen took precautions by creating a fire break and only attempting this after weeks of rain and snow, a stray gust of wind caught the fire and caused it to jump. We're thankful to our local fire departments for their quick, efficient responses!
