I Take Photos Even When I Don’t Feel Like It
This week was tough. A lot of rain, low energy, and not much motivation to go outside with a camera. But the work still needs to be done. In this vlog, I head out to photograph a quiet neighbourhood on a rainy day, shooting Lomography Lady Grey on film. It’s slower, quieter, and harder to find things to photograph, but I’m trying to pay attention to smaller moments and simple frames. This video isn’t a review or a how-to. It’s more like a diary. I talk through what it feels like to keep making photos when you don’t really feel like it, and how that process looks for me. At the end of the day, I come home and develop the roll late in the evening. The negatives feel flatter than I expected, and I reflect a bit on the film, the development, and the day itself. If you enjoyed the video, feel free to like it or leave a comment. Take photos every day.
