Professor Arturo Molina's handpicked repertoire includes Sergei Rachmaninoff's comeback composition, one that solidified his legacy as a triple threat. A respected conductor and pianist, his First Symphony was poorly received, which sent him into spiraling depression until he finally put together this opus. The Manila Symphony Orchestra performed Sergei Rachmaninoff's Symphony No.2 at the Power Mac Center Spotlight in Circuit Makati on June 3, 2017. There was a second performance on June 4, 2017 at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater in the Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City.
