Sleep AND meditation? Deep, complete rest during Yoga Nidra can be as effective as four times the rest you get from regular rest. How is this possible? Because we often rest without truly resting, which ultimately hinders the body's self-healing mechanisms. In this Nidra session, you will explore various layers of yourself, leading to deep, optimal relaxation and rest. This session can be done at any time of the day, or just before bed. Yoga Nidra is typically performed: Lying down, in a comfortable position, supported by props such as pillows, blankets, or anything else that maximizes posture comfort. Avoid excessive movement throughout the session. If you feel uncomfortable, you can change positions, but remain as still as possible. Mental health is an important priority, especially during the current WFH/pandemic era.
