In this walk i go 6 miles from Llangollen to the world fanous Pontycysyllte Aquaduct. But the beauty of this canal also holds a tragedy. 3 miles from Llangollen was the location. Fully opened in 1805 it operated along some dramatic landscapes. The Llangollen Canal later had a rival in the railway, The Ruabon to Barmouth Railway.
