The De Dosso Refuge is located on Alpe Painale, the last mountain pasture at the head of the Togno Valley. In the lower part of the valley, three trails converge near the Val di Togno Refuge: the trail from Spriana along the left side; the trail from Carnale along the right side; and the road from Arquino that runs along the valley floor.
