PUBLIC ADVISORY from DPWH Regional Office VIII as of May 20, 2025 SAN JUANICO BRIDGE VEHICLE CROSSING GUIDELINES To ensure public safety and prevent further structural deterioration of the San Juanico Bridge, the following guidelines are strictly enforced: ● Only vehicles weighing 3TONS AND BELOW are allowed to cross the San Juanico Bridge. ● Only vehicles with a MAXIMUM HEIGHT OF 3.2-METERS are allowed to pass the bridge. ● Maintain a SPEED LIMIT OF 30KM/HR while crossing. ● All vehicles must PASS THROUGH THE CENTER LINE of the bridge. ● ONE-WAY CROSSING ONLY at a time, with a 15–20 minute interval for each direction. ● Maintain a MINIMUM DISTANCE OF 50-METERS BETWEEN VEHICLES while on the bridge. ● Trucks and heavy vehicles should proceed directly to the designated PPA ports to help reduce traffic at both bridge entry points.
