Is the San Juanico Bridge still Structurally Sound? | Leyte-Samar

The iconic 2.16-kilometer-long San Juanico Bridge is now under enhanced restrictions following the structural assessment made by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and the Office of Civil Defense (OCD). Only 3000 kilograms of axle load are allowed to cross the San Juanico Bridge. The 42-year-old bridge needs a structural retrofitting of its superstructure.
