Join in for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the Construction progress of India's first underground and undersea tunnel for the high-speed bullet train project connecting Mumbai's Bandra-Kurla Complex to Shilphata in Maharashtra. The construction milestones as we explore the ongoing work at multiple key locations: 1. Vikhroli Shaft: The depth of Shaft 2 plunging 56 meters underground, with 100% piling work accomplished, preparations are underway to deploy Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) towards BKC and Ghansoli. 2. Ghansoli (Sawli) Shaft: The excavation work commences at Shaft 3 in Sawli, navigating through the challenges posed by high population density and existing infrastructure. 3. ADIT (Additionally Driven Intermediate Tunnel) Portal: The additional access portal designed to expedite construction progress, ensuring efficient completion of the underground/undersea tunnel. 4. Shilphata Portal: The commencement of portal work at the NATM end of the tunnel, signaling a crucial step forward in the construction process.
