In this chapter, we show a reality that happens to us very often when traveling through Mexico with pets. Many people don't talk about this topic, but in Mexico, people traditionally set off a lot of firecrackers, a lot of fireworks, and the center of the country is where they do it the most. In the state of Puebla, there is the Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town) of Cholula de Rivadavia, probably the town where they set off the most firecrackers, where every day hundreds and hundreds of explosions echo among the hills. We all know that animals are not fans of fireworks and that they get very sick. In our case, our dog Chinchulín gets very sick; he despairs and can't do anything but take refuge in his truck. We don't know in which towns they set off firecrackers and which ones don't. We understand that it's a habit, and there's nothing we can do, only ask that people become aware that many things happen behind a firecracker: many dogs are run over, many are lost, thus causing several other problems! Every time this happens, we really can't enjoy the place or the moment, and we always run the risk of losing our dog! WE HOPE THAT ONE DAY THEY'LL BECOME AWARE! Thank you so much for watching!
