Santiago, Lelaki Batu Van Sangihe

The Stone Man of Sangihe History records show that one of the kingdoms that existed in the Sangihe Islands Regency in the 17th century was the Manganitu Kingdom. This kingdom existed from 1600 to 1944. Its center of government was located in Kauhis, in the Sangihe Islands. The natural wealth of the Sangihe Islands became a point of contention among other kingdoms and nations. Since ancient times, the Sangihe Islands were renowned as a spice trade route, making them a target for Spanish, Portuguese, and Dutch sailors.
