DIY Chicken Tractor Build!

We built this chicken tractor from scratch using our own design. We went back and forth between a Joel Salatin or John Suscovich style chicken tractor and settled on our own design more like a Suscovich style. Why? Because that style can accommodate a chandelier!. Yes, this chicken tractor has a built in chandelier! We used primarily 2 x 4's and 2 x 3's for this build joining the sections together with lap joints. I show 2 different techniques of how to create these joints in the video. I searched diligently for a metal roof we could reclaim in the woods and found some farm treasures to reclaim for future projects. We give the full chicken tractor tour at the end with our meat chickens already occupying the space.
