Kayaking into the Charles Deam Wilderness.
I did a 3-day/ 2-night kayak camping trip on beautiful Lake Monroe in the Charles Deam Wilderness. Indiana's only designated wilderness area. With only a few days left of winter, it was really easy to see into the leafless forest and take in the rugged beauty of the hills and landscape while kayaking. The water level was much higher than normal but finding a campsite with level ground wasn't too much of a task.
