She Leads: A Journey Unfolding, a documentary that follows the lives of women like Riya as they take meaningful steps towards building their own small-scale businesses and shaping a more secure future for themselves and their families. Filmed over eight months, the documentary captures their lived experiences, aspirations, and reflections as they engage with the programme and navigate the realities of entrepreneurship, financial decision-making, and finding greater voice within their households and communities. Through their stories, the film offers an intimate glimpse into the opportunities, challenges, and learning that have shaped their journeys. At the heart of the documentary is Riya, a young mother with a clear vision: to establish her own tailoring business. While balancing family responsibilities and the demands of everyday life, she continues to invest in her future through life skills education support and financial literacy training. Through moments from her daily life, we witness her determination, resilience, and the quiet strength with which she is working towards a better future for her children.   Alongside Riya, women such as Shivasati, Bimala, and Anu are also navigating similar paths. Coming from rural communities, they are challenging limitations, building confidence, and redefining what is possible for themselves and their families. Their journeys remind us that empowerment is not a single moment, but a process shaped by courage, learning, support, and persistence.
