Kennedy Meadows - Overlanding - Spring Run Off
We packed up the Jeep, loaded up the dogs, and headed deep into the Southern Sierra Nevada to the legendary Kennedy Meadows. Sitting at 6,200 feet, this high-altitude sanctuary is where the Mojave Desert ends and the rugged granite peaks begin. In this video, we scout out the perfect dispersed campsite along the Wild and Scenic South Fork of the Kern River, enjoy some campfire drinks, and soak in the absolute peace of the crisp mountain air. On the long trek home, we even take a detour through Randsburg, a living gold-rush ghost town.
