Diagnosis: I Have Porsche High Mileage Disease

Is there such a thing as Porsche High Mileage Disease? I think I have it. After owning three Porsche 911s, I've noticed a pattern that I can't explain. My first 911 had 62,000 miles in just four years. My Carrera S had 66,000 miles after four years. Now my 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo is five years old with 50,000 miles. Here's the strange part: I don't even daily drive it. So why do I always end up with the highest-mileage Porsche in the room? In this video, I wrestle with a question that's been bothering me for years. Why do so many Porsche owners keep mileage incredibly low? Is it about preserving value? Protecting the investment? Or am I simply enjoying the car differently? I'm not criticizing anyone's approach. I'm genuinely trying to understand whether I'm doing something wrong—or whether I've just accepted that these cars were built to be driven. I'd love to hear your perspective. 👇 Leave a comment with: What year is your Porsche? How many miles are on it? What's your ownership philosophy—preserve it or drive it?
