C&C3 Tiberium Wars GDI Casabad [Hard, Any%] WORLD RECORD

🏆 World Record speedrun of Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars GDI Casabad mission; Hard mode, 100% Objectives completed. 🏆 🕹️ Game: Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars 🕹️ Mission: Casabad 🕹️ Difficulty: Hard 🕹️ Catagory: Any% 🕹️ World Record: Yes 🕹️ Exploit / Glitch: No 🕹️ Time: 2m09s 🕹️ Timesave: 4s (~3%) Hey guys, super excited to be back with another WORLD RECORD speedrun! ⏱️ Another weekly speedrun has dropped! This one's a little modification of my original run, which was beaten on Easy mode. I think there's probably still some time save on Easy mode, so it won't be mine forever, but I thought it was an interesting revision, nonetheless. Instead of heading down the guts, I send a team of Zone Troopers to the North to dispatch the main Nod base - specifically the War Factories. The previous run had a group of three Zone Troopers, followed by a group of two coming out of the Barracks. In this run, I simply capture the Tiberium Spike and sell a Power Plant to fund the mission, before quickly capping the crates on the ledge with the provided ZT squad. I produce a further three ZT squads followed by lot of Rocket Squads, whilst dropping in the GDI Airborne. I sell both Tech Centre and Armory for the extra funds and have a decent standing army to attck the Nod forces head-on, after taking their initial patrols out. As you can see both groups - the four Zone Troopers and the rest of the Infantry - head to their objectives quickly, destroying anything that can cause them too much damage along the way. The main issue for this run is the group of Venoms. They can pick apart Infantry very quickly and will tend to target the Zone Troopers first, annihilating your main source of DPS for the buildings. Secondary are the Flame Tanks, who can be manipulated by spreading your forces and hoping that the terrain mitigates their effectiveness. The terrain can in fact render them useless in certain scenarios, causing a massive decrease in their DPS. The final issue is the RNG on the Nod War Factories, which can produce many Raider Buggies, requiring the attention of the Zone Troopers and therefore reducing their DPS on the buildings. I found that destroying some of the initial forces was the best course of action, grouping the GDI forces and then pushing forward on an attack stance as the Zone Troopers leave them. The positioning on the Nod Venoms can vary, though it's almost always worth ignoring them and instead attacking the Tiberium Research Facility. That's about it!
