Rottefella Xplore Flexor Ski Tip Pressure Test
Is the Rottefella Xplore XC ski binding sufficient for telemark XCD skiing? Many skiers use a heel cable or hardwire with soft leather boots and have wondered why Rottefella did not include this option in the design of the Xplore binding. Does the flexor in the Xplore or NNNBC binding transfer forces from the boot to the front of the ski? Here are my thoughts on the subject. My simpleton test won't end the debate, it is simply to demonstrate that the flexor does transfer force to the tip of the ski. I think it works very well, but it may not work for everyone. https://www.telemarktalk.com/viewtopi...
