Western Electric 4A Reproducer Circa 1926-1928
Oil filled, American made 4A reproducer by Western Electric, dating to around 1926- 1928 possibly , an almost identical pickup was produced in Britain at the same time by the H.M.V Company in west London. The entire pickup head is filled with liquid Oil to damp the action. 1 of the most Outstanding , Early Electric pickups from the first few years of Home Audio Electrification. The reproduction on this Louis Armstrong Number is simply Beautiful.
