Here I'm addressing a very important topic—namely, the early mother-child relationship and its positive and negative impacts on people. I'll explore this from both Native American and Indigenous perspectives, as well as from the perspective of familiar Western practices. This video is important because this topic is extremely important, and more people should know about it. If you're interested in this topic, I highly recommend the books by Tamarack Song and Manintonquat. Both write about it and know far more than I do. I received this knowledge from these elders, both from their books and from their students who taught me. Everything they said and knew about it makes perfect sense to me. Hopefully, this natural and actually completely self-evident knowledge will soon reach us in the West as well... It's high time that children grow up again in an atmosphere that gives them everything they need to be healthy adults and healthy people... And if it's as simple as it is here – and so fundamental (important) – then it really should be done...
