This song was written as a tribute to the men and women of Pacentro who left their homeland in search of a better life for themselves and their families. With courage, determination and sacrifice, they crossed oceans, leaving behind their homes, their families and the mountains they loved, carrying with them little more than hope and a dream. Through their hard work, resilience and devotion to family, they built new lives and created opportunities for future generations. May their stories, sacrifices and legacy never be forgotten.
