Why Germany did Not V-2 Saturate London with Poison Gas
V-2s would not make for effective poison gas weapons delivery systems. V-2s are inaccurate, their warhead is too small, can’t disperse the compound effectively, too few available to saturate an area, and too expensive. Bombers dropping proximity fused chemical bombs are well suited for this type of attack, not V-2s. They carry much more chemical poison compound, can saturate a local area, better aerosol dispersion of the chemical with either timed or proximity fused bombs, and are cheaper by the unit.
