O Expedições Navega Pelo Rio Pandeiros - Expedições

The EXPEDITIONS team begins their journey in northern Minas Gerais, in the city of Januária. From there, the expedition members meet with the team from the Rio Pandeiros Research Center and head towards the so-called 'Pantanal of the Rio Pandeiros'. This river is an important tributary of the São Francisco River and is responsible for the reproduction of several species of the "Velho Chico" (Old Chico). Our team documents the beauty of the channels, flora, and fauna of the region. Going up the Rio Pandeiros, they reach a bathing area with beautiful waterfalls. On boat trips, they reach one of the river's springs and document the fragility of the region's ecosystems. In the second stage of the trip, the expedition members record underwater images of the fish nursery and wildlife habitat -- the springs of the Rio Pandeiros Pantanal.
