THE GREATest MOVIE RIDE and YOU build it! Gangsters, Western, Alien, Indiana Jones and Anubis-Scene

Soon you can "re-open" THE GREAT MOVIE RIDE that was once a main attraction at Disney´s MGM Studios Florida. With this free set, which will be released in the first half of 2026, you will be able to recreate the elaborate dark ride in your Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 game. This video gives you a sneak peek of the second part of the attraction: 0:00 The Underworld (James Cagney and Gangster Attack) 1:31 The Old West (Clint Eastwood, John Wayne, Shootout) 2:53 Alien Scene 3:38 Raiders of the Lost Ark Scene 4:18 Anubis Scene Riders enter the "Underworld" with their tour guide. After meeting James Cagney they witness a 30´s gangster shootout. (The effect of the gangster hijacking the ride vehicle - part of the real-world attraction - can sadly not be reproduced in this game.) In "The Old West" your park guests meet the biggest stars of the genre and escape a confrontation between a bankrobber and the sheriff of the town. Danger is lurking in the corridors of the spaceship NOSTROMO, where Ellen Ripley is ready to face the Xenomorph from "Alien". Two jump scares await the guests in this scene. Entering an ancient temple the visitors find Indiana Jones and Sallah unearthing the Lost Ark. On the chest of Anubis a cursed jewel is waiting for those who are willing to risk their lives... The finished set will also include scenery to build the other scenes from THE GREAT MOVIE RIDE. Kudos to the Imagineers who created the original attraction.
