Spaceship Earth - A Virtual Ride - Part 1

Take a ride through the history of human communication... This is a virtual recreation of Disney´s Spaceship Earth at EPCOT. Passengers board a "time machine" that takes them from the age of the cavemen to the computer era. This video recreates the first part of the journey- from the load station to the famous Phoenician scene, where you are encouraged by narrator Dame Judi Dench to thank the inventors of the first common alphabet... This recreation is done with Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 and custom-made scenery and ride vehicles. Upcoming videos will show the others parts of the dark ride. The papyrus plants and other textures were sourced from pixabay. Kudos to the imagineers who created this wonderful ride in the real world.
