This Is Why We Love Living in Mexico

Some days are packed with plans, others fill themselves naturally. This Saturday turned into a little bit of everything. Join me as I stop by a local market to look for gifts to bring back to family in the Netherlands, pick up my son from Jiu-Jitsu who enjoyed some time at the cenote after class before heading back home to make brunch. Later, we watched the World Cup match between the Netherlands and Sweden at a local restaurant. The afternoon took us to a community skate event, a dodgeball tournament and we wrapped up the day food hopping our way through a local tasting event featuring special dishes from restaurants around town. What started as an ordinary Saturday became a day full of memories.
