The nearest station to Kashii Shrine is Kashii-Jingu Station on the Kashii Line. Kashii is also known as the setting for Seicho Matsumoto's masterpiece, "Points and Lines." The station appears in the novel during the JNR (Japanese National Railways) era. In front of Nishitetsu Kashii Station, there is a cherry tree and a stone monument named "Seicho's Cherry Tree," which Matsumoto himself likely saw at the time. The station structure is a ground-level station with a combination of side and island platforms, 3 platforms, and 5 tracks. Some limited express trains and all trains below rapid service stop here.
