The Nishitetsu 3000 Series train debuted in 2006 and is primarily used for daytime express trains. Like modern, non-fee-charged express trains, it features cross seats in the middle of the car and long seats at both ends. Quoted from Wikipedia: The Nishitetsu 3000 Series was initially manufactured in 2005 to replace the aging 600 and 700 Series, and later the 2000 and 8000 Series. Based on the idea that trains are a product of the railway business, the specifications of the trains were determined based on the following three concepts: Renewal Create a train with a new design that is different from existing trains and creates a train that inspires excitement. Comfort Create a train that puts the customer first and provides warmth and comfort that makes it easy for everyone to use. High Quality We aim to create vehicles that provide a comfortable, comfortable travel space that resonates with society. Technically, the train's greatest feature is its adoption of laser welding in the body assembly, a first for an all-stainless steel mass-produced train in Japan. This allows for a high-quality body at low cost. In recognition of this concept and its first adoption of advanced technology, the train received the Laurel Award from the Japan Railway Enthusiasts Association in 2007. In 2017, two three-car trains began operating as the Yanagawa Sightseeing Train "Suido," and one five-car train began operating as the Dazaifu Sightseeing Train "Tabito."
